Create Pages and Add Content:<\/b><\/p>\n
Next we\u2019ll add content. An exhibit is made up of <\/span>pages<\/span><\/i>, and each page is made up of one or more customizable <\/span>blocks<\/span><\/i> of content. Each content block can include just text, a combination of texts and items from your collections, a gallery of items, or a file. Content blocks can be added, deleted, and moved around on the page.<\/span><\/p>\n\n- \n
\n- In the <\/span>Page Title <\/span><\/i>field, add a title related to an item in your collection.<\/span><\/li>\n
- In the <\/span>Menu Link Title<\/span><\/i>, repeat the title or (if it is long) a shortened version<\/span><\/li>\n
- In the <\/span>Page Slug<\/span><\/i> field, add a word related to the title you just added.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Under <\/span>Content<\/span><\/i>, in the New Block section, click on <\/span>File with Text<\/span><\/i>\n
\n- Click the green “Add new content block” button that has appeared at the bottom of the screen<\/span><\/li>\n
- A block will appear under content labelled \u201cBlock 1 (File with Text)\u201d – if you scroll down, you will see underneath this block is the <\/span>New block tool.<\/span><\/i>\n
\n- Click on the <\/span>Add Item<\/span><\/i> box – a list of your items will appear. Choose the item you named in the title field.<\/span><\/li>\n
- You will then be given the option of providing a <\/span>caption<\/span><\/i> for your item.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Click the green “Apply” button – this will return you to the <\/span>Add Page<\/span><\/i> page, where the item you added is now part of Block 1.<\/span>\n
\n- Note: you can edit an item in a content block, and you can reuse items as many times as you want in a page and an exhibit.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
