Guilford Keeping Society Archives https://gks.omeka.net/ This site presents some of the intellectual resources maintained by the Guilford Keeping Society (GKS). The GKS is dedicated to preserving the history of Guilford, Connecticut and to celebrating the many cultural influences that have shaped this town since 1639.

Ozarks Afro-American Heritage Museum Online https://oaahm.omeka.net/ African American history is a little discussed subject in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and Arkansas. In 2004, Fr. Moses Berry founded a small storefront museum in Ash Grove, MO to collect artifacts and photographs that illustrate and illuminate the forgotten history of this region. In 2013, the museum has migrated to a digital space both because of rising financial costs related to maintaining the physical space and to share this history with a far wider audience.

Farm and Ranch http://farmandranch.omeka.net/  The purpose of this website is to showcase late 18th century through early 20th century historic farm and ranch complexes located in Bexar and adjacent counties in Texas. The goal is to celebrate and to promote conservation and preservation of historic properties and to provide inspiration and examples for others looking to do the same with their properties.

Skokie Lagoons https://skokielagoons.omeka.net/exhibits/show/exhibit/home This exhibit explores how workers from the Civilian Conservation Corps constructed a new nature, turning marshland into the Skokie Lagoons. Click through to uncover what the Skokie Marsh was like before the lagoons, why and how the lagoons were created, how the area has changed over the last 80 years, and what this tells us about the past.

History of Agnes Scott College. http://agnesscott.omeka.net/ The history of Agnes Scott College has been told several times since the foundation of the college in 1889, but never from the perspective of its students. This project, first undertaken in spring 2017 by the students and faculty of the History Department and by the librarians and archivists of McCain Library, aims to change that.

West Hartford History Online https://history.westhartfordlibrary.org/ Our local history collections include historical material relating to the town of West Hartford, such as town reports, local atlases, Greater Hartford city directories from 1887-1991, neighborhood and institutional histories, local high school yearbooks, historic maps, postcards, photographs, local newspapers and books by and about Noah Webster.

Farms to Freeways (Sydney, Australia) http://omeka.uws.edu.au/farmstofreeways/ This research project, titled Western Sydney Women’s Oral History Project ‘From farms to freeways: Women’s memories of Western Sydney’, sought to analyse the experiences of women who had lived in the Blacktown and Penrith areas since the early 1950s, including their responses to social changes brought about by rapid suburbanisation in the Western Sydney region in the post-war period.

St Louis Punk Archive http://stlpunkarchive.omeka.net The purpose of this site is to preserve and make available for both researchers and fans the artifacts of the St. Louis punk scene.

Queer Omaha Archives http://queeromahaarchives.omeka.net/ The Queer Omaha Archives preserves Omaha’s LGBTQIA+ history as part of the UNO Libraries’ Archives & Special Collections. Historical materials documenting Omaha’s diverse LGBTQIA+ communities are collected and made available to the public by archivists and librarians to more widely share Omaha’s stories.

Tuscaloosa Area Virtual Museum https://tavm.omeka.net This digital collection focuses on historic photographs of the Tuscaloosa area including the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport as well as the surrounding areas.  Also included are interviews with leaders and residents of the area.

Historic Plaques of Ontario https://ontarioplaques.omeka.net/ Since the 1950s, the Ontario government has installed blue & gold historic plaques around the province, of which there are now over 1,200. The Canadian government and Heritage Toronto (City of Toronto) have installed hundreds more, featuring wonderful information about “what happened here.” In the past few years of travelling around the province, I’ve amassed a significant collection of plaque snapshots. This site is a way of keeping track of things I’ve seen, and sharing what I’ve learned about Ontario.
